I still have two public poetry readings scheduled in Iowa before leaving for Wisconsin. Do come on out and listen if you'd like/are available (sorry they are out of Ames). They are:

1) Wed, November 8, Winterset Art Center, 7pm (Dan Troxell of DSM is the featured poet - really enjoyed his work at the DSM Arts Festival this summer). Get there at 6:30pm if you want to sign up to read in the open mic. The art center appears to be on John Wayne Dr (HWY 169 south from Interstate 80 west of DSM  -- map included)

2) Sat & Sun November 12 & 13, in the historic Hotel Pattee in Perry Several Third Stanza Poets will be reading, one each hour on the hour as part of Poet's Corner in the store of the Hotel during Art on the Prairie. See www.artontheprairie.org (click on Poet's Corner). There will be great readings by a TS poet every hour on the hour for 15 minutes. My readings are Saturday at 3pm and Sunday at 1pm.
